You may or may not know, but Tanworth-in-Arden is a small but historically rich area in Warwickshire.
Notably we have had singer song writer Nick Drake residing here and motor racing legend Mike Hailwood, who both tragically died too soon – Nick – 26 (from an overdose of antidepressants) and Mike – 40 (in a car crash which also tragically claimed his 9 year old daughter).
They were both laid to rest at our local church – The St. Mary Magdalene Church.
We are lucky to have such a lovely building as the home for our clinic. Ivy house is a grade 2 listed building. Listed buildings are recognised for having national importance, and warrants ever effort to keep them preserved. Listed buildings are also counted among the notable heritage assets in the UK property market’s heritage sector.
We love being based in Tanworth In Arden and we recently came across these photos and wanted to share them.
